Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, the beloved DJ and co-host of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, tragically died by suicide at the age of 40. His wife, Allison Holker, confirmed the heartbreaking news, sharing that Stephen “lit up every room he stepped into” and was “the backbone of our family.” She asked for privacy as their family, including their three children, grieves.
Authorities reported that Stephen checked into a Los Angeles motel shortly before taking his own life. The cause of death has been officially ruled as suicide by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner.
Stephen joined The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2014 and became a co-executive producer in 2020. He and Ellen shared a deep bond, reflecting warmly on their years together during the show’s final season. Following the news, Ellen posted a touching tribute, calling him “pure love and light” and expressing her deep heartbreak.
