When “NCIS: Los Angeles” star Eric Christian Olsen became a father, he had no idea he’d become such a “softie” as a result of his children. He is now a devoted father to his three children.

Eric Christian Olsen is a proud husband to Sarah Wright and a doting father to their three children. He is best known for his role as Marty Deeks in “NCIS: Los Angeles.” On the show, he marries his on-screen partner Kensi, played by Daniela Ruah, who is his real-life sister-in-law.

Prior to joining “NCIS,” the 44-year-old actor appeared in a number of feature films, including “Not Another Teen Movie,” “Fired Up,” and “Dumber and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd.” While he has lived in Los Angeles for many years, he was born in Oregon to a Norwegian family.

LIFE IN HIS FAMILY
Olsen is happily married to Sarah Wright, whom he met on the set of the Fox sitcom “The Loop” in 2006. Six years later, in 2012, they married near Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

In turn, the couple wasted no time in starting a family, welcoming their first child, Wyatt Oliver, in 2013. Three years later, their daughter, Esme Olivia, arrived, and their third child, Winter Story, arrived in 2020.

THEY HAVE A THIRD CHILD
Winter, their daughter, was born on September 15, 2020, weighing 10 pounds and 4 ounces. Olsen made sure to keep their fans up to date on social media, posting a photo of his wife breastfeeding their adorable daughter.

Olsen is seen smiling with a face mask on in the background, despite the fact that their child was born during the C0V1D-19 pand3m1c. They returned home to their growing children and their adoring dogs after a brief stay in the hospital.

FATHERHOOD EXPERIENCE
When Olsen became a father for the first time, he was overcome with emotion, and he admitted that it caught him off guard. Following Wyatt’s birth, he stated:

“I’ve turned into such a softie.” My eyes well up with tears, and I become overjoyed. That’s just not who I am.”

EXPRESSING HIS LOVE FOR HIS WIFE
The couple prefers to keep things lighthearted, but they are serious about their relationship. Olsen expressed his admiration for Wright shortly after Esme’s birth, saying, “I am in awe of this woman; somehow navigating the most difficult moments with equal parts passion, fearlessness, and all-encompassing love.”

The actor recalled reading about how a person’s approach to life and birth are inextricably linked, and he wholeheartedly agreed after witnessing Wright give birth to their children. He described it as a “whirlwind microcosm of the rest of life’s journey.”

EXCELLENT ROLE MODELS
Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J, his co-stars and friends on “NCIS,” became Olsen’s role models in fatherhood, and he added that they always have great advice handy whenever he is stuck.

The proud father recently posted a sweet image of his two children after apparently getting them ready for the day, captioning the photo, “When dad dresses the bear and fox.”

With three beautiful daughters and a son with jewelry designer wife Simone Smith, co-star LL Cool J has no doubt that he has great advice for Olsen.

The “NCIS” boys may appear tough on TV, but when they are with their families, they are the polar opposite.
