Pauley Perrette, star of NCIS, reunited with one of her former coworkers for a sweet post on her personal Twitter account.
Pauley Perrette hasn’t played NCIS forensic specialist Abby Sciuto since 2018, but she’s still keeping in touch with her old co-stars off-screen. The former CBS star recently took to Twitter to share a photo of herself and Dr. Jimmy Palmer actor Brian Dietzen, as well as one of their furry friends, enjoying a cozy reunion.
Fans were overjoyed to learn that NCIS stars Pauley and Brian had remained close friends after Abby’s departure in season 15.
Pauley posted a selfie of the pair relaxing in the garden with a new companion on her personal Twitter account.
She captioned the photo with a smiley emoji, “Me and @BrianDietzen today.” (As well as #RescueDog Rosie!)”
Brian responded in the comments, “You’ve gotten so much taller since I last saw you!” I’m standing on my tiptoes!”
“He did that on purpose!” Pauley joked. Because we were standing on a hill, he wanted to make me look like a giant!”
The long-running NCIS star was most recently seen in the season 15 episode Two Steps Back, where she resigned following an assassination attempt.
Meanwhile, Brian has remained on the show as Dr Jimmy Palmer, the NCIS’ chief medical examiner.
Following her post, Pauley’s 707.3k followers were relieved to learn that the actress had maintained good relations with Brian.
“Aww!” said Beth Schneider. I’m glad you guys still hang out. I also adore your glasses!”
“First and foremost, Pauley, I absolutely adore your hair!! Second, everything about this photograph makes my heart sing.”
“I love seeing you two together!!” Debbie Cook yelled.
“It’s good to see you Pauley, Brian, and Rescue dog Rosie!” said Itina Bivens.
“This makes me smile….glad to see you are still in each other’s circles,” Scott R Snyder wrote.

Many fans have been hoping for Abby’s return in the show’s landmark 20th season, but no plans have been announced as of yet.
In 2019, Pauley denied the rumors, claiming she had no desire to work with Mark Harmon again.
There have also been rumors that Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, who play Anthony DiNozzo and Ziva David, will reprise their roles in the upcoming season.
When Michael’s follow-up CBS drama, Bull, was confirmed to be ending after its sixth season, speculation erupted.
However, fans are still waiting for the next production updates while the show is on hiatus for the summer, so it remains to be seen whether the long-awaited NCIS reunion will take place next year.
