Pauley Perrette, the former NCIS star, marked the one-year anniversary of her massive stroke on September 2. She reflected on her challenging life, which included losing loved ones, experiencing health scares like a severe hair dye allergy, surviving domestic violence and rape, and an attack by a homeless person. Despite these hardships, she expressed gratitude for her rescue dogs and her friends.
In May 2018, Perrette left NCIS after 15 seasons and stated she would “never” return, citing her discomfort with former co-star Mark Harmon and alleging “multiple physical assaults” on set. She later appeared in the short-lived CBS comedy “Broke” in 2020.
